Productivity

Days like today, when the rain and dreary sky are bringing me down, the long weekend wasn't long enough and the kids were sick, and it's just screaming "Monday hates you", it's very tough to be productive.  This morning was a mess for me!  I stayed in bed until the last minute, continuously telling myself that I was NOT going to catch this stomach bug that's been passed through the house.  We rarely get sick here, but when we do it seems to be Thanksgiving.  Good timing, huh?  Poor Annalie has been sick three Thanksgivings in a row!  I'm fairly sure that I actually had the virus but fought it off yesterday with my super mom skills.  That or I just imagined the entire thing.  Either way, I made it through a pretty intense hill class today at First Wind without barfing, so I call it a win.

Fast forward until now.  I'm sitting at the computer for the second hour in a row feeling completely unproductive.  Yet I HAVE managed to get my old blog imported here and get my new one up and running with even a few videos and workout ideas.  So I guess that's not nothing.

But what's waiting for me??  Well....

House cleaning
Laundry/dish washing
Headband making
Christmas decorating

Shit, I haven't even showered!!  So yeah, those of you who look at me and then say "man, she's hardcore".....well something has to give.  And my cleaning skills are where I'm lacking.

That being said, the kids just got home and I would much rather cuddle with them on the couch for a few minutes than do anything else on that list.  Cleaning can always wait. :)
